The Proxem Family
One standard.
Two disciplines.
Proxem and Proxem AI are distinct organisations with a shared commitment to engineering excellence. Together, they cover the full spectrum of a business's digital needs — from the infrastructure you operate on to the intelligence that optimises it.
"Proxem builds the car.
Proxem AI builds the brain
that drives it."
The analogy is deliberate. High-performance infrastructure requires two layers of excellence: a chassis engineered to carry the load, and an intelligence system capable of navigating what comes next. Neither replaces the other. Both require the same precision.
The Parent Company
Proxem
The Builder.
Digital infrastructure for organisations that need it built right the first time.
Proxem is a premium digital architecture agency. We build the platforms, portals, and digital presences that mid-market and enterprise organisations depend on to operate, compete, and grow.
Our clients come to us when the stakes are high enough that "good enough" isn't acceptable. A COO whose logistics platform needs to handle ten million transactions a month. A CEO who needs their corporate presence to carry the weight of an international brand. A CTO who has inherited a legacy system that needs replacing without disrupting the business that runs on it.
We work at the intersection of engineering rigour and design precision. Every project begins with an architectural brief. Nothing gets built without a plan.
You are here
Proxem
The Builder.
Bespoke web engineering, platform development, and digital strategy. The foundation every serious business needs.
The Intelligence Division
Proxem AI
The Thinker.
AI implementation and intelligent automation for organisations ready to act on their data.
Proxem AI is a specialist consultancy. It does not build websites or design interfaces. It builds the intelligence layer that sits on top of the digital infrastructure Proxem provides — transforming raw business data into automated decisions, intelligent workflows, and competitive advantage.
The trigger is different. When a client says "we have too much data and don't know what to do with it," or "our customer service team can't scale any further," or "we need an internal AI tool that our engineers can actually use" — that is a Proxem AI conversation.
Proxem AI strategy is executed with Proxem's engineering capability. The two organisations share technical infrastructure but operate with distinct focus and distinct pricing models.
Intelligence Division
Proxem AI
The Thinker.
AI strategy, RAG systems, and autonomous agents built on top of Proxem's engineering foundation. For organisations ready to act on their data.
How the Two Work Together
The foundation comes first.
Intelligence follows.
Many of Proxem's clients are not yet ready for AI. They need their digital infrastructure built, stabilised, and operating reliably before any intelligence layer can be added. That is by design.
A Proxem engagement establishes the foundation. Once the platform is performing, the data is structured, and the operations are running on robust digital infrastructure — the conversation about what Proxem AI can add becomes a natural next step, not an upsell.
When we identify a Proxem AI opportunity within a client engagement, we facilitate the introduction explicitly. The client speaks with our Intelligence Division with full context already transferred. There is no duplication, no restart, and no pitch deck to sit through.
Not every Proxem client becomes a Proxem AI client. And not every Proxem AI client needs to have started with Proxem. But the path from one to the other is smooth by design.

Common Questions
Can I work with Proxem AI without working with Proxem first?
Yes. Proxem AI engages with organisations regardless of who built their current digital infrastructure. If your data exists and your processes are defined, we can begin an AI assessment.
How do I know whether my project belongs to Proxem or Proxem AI?
If your question begins with "we need to build" — it's a Proxem conversation. If it begins with "we need to make sense of" or "we want to automate" — it's a Proxem AI conversation. If it's both, we'll identify which comes first.
Are Proxem and Proxem AI the same team?
They share engineering resources and leadership. They operate as distinct divisions with distinct practices, pricing, and project scopes.
What does "Powered by Proxem" mean for Proxem AI?
When Proxem AI designs and specifies an intelligent system, the actual engineering is executed by Proxem's development team. This means the AI strategy and the technical build are aligned from day one — no handoff friction between what was specified and what gets built.
